Founder and Director of Development, and a working engineer on the studio’s own products.
Afnan Hussain Tabish is the founder of Panzex Solutions and its Director of Development. He leads the studio’s engineering practice and works inside it, writing production code on client engagements and on the products the studio builds for itself.
His most recent technical work is ZexView, the real-time three-dimensional product viewer Panzex develops and maintains. It presents interactive models in a standard browser at sixty frames per second on mid-range hardware, and he is responsible for both its rendering pipeline and the models it ships with. Several of the standards the studio now works to originate with him: performance budgets agreed before a feature is written, accessibility treated as an acceptance criterion, and technical search considerations handled inside the engineering work instead of after it.
He holds a BS in Botany from the University of Gujrat. Before founding the studio he taught English at Next Gen Institute, preparing IELTS and PTE candidates to band 7.0 and above. That period set a standard he still applies: technical material is finished only when someone outside the discipline can follow it, which is the measure Panzex uses for its documentation and its client handovers. He is also Managing Director of Syndicate Skills.
Panzex Solutions began as a conversation among colleagues who already knew one another’s strengths and concluded that in combination they could deliver work none of them could deliver alone. Tabish built the practice around that premise and continues to set its engineering direction.
He maintains a continuous programme of formal study, and holds fifty-two certifications from Stanford Online, Johns Hopkins University, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, the University of Colorado Boulder, the California Institute of the Arts, Wesleyan University and the University of Pennsylvania, among others. Each carries an independent verification record. Together they span machine learning, software engineering, design practice and research method.
He is also a poet and a sketch artist, and both practices carry into the work. Drawing is a training in composition, proportion and the behaviour of light, which are the same judgements that decide whether a screen reads clearly: what the eye reaches first, how much room an element needs around it, and where weight belongs. Working from observation also enforces measurement before mark-making, and the studio’s design work follows that order, resolving a layout in proportion before committing it to code. The same discipline governs information architecture, where deciding what is grouped, what is subordinate and what is left quiet is a compositional problem before it is a technical one.
Poetry contributes a different discipline: form and compression. A fixed structure obliges the content to earn its place within it, and the habit of removing everything that does not carry meaning is directly useful in interface writing, where a label, an error message or a page title has very little room to work in. The studio’s approach to naming and to interface copy comes from that practice, treating cadence and economy as part of the craft.
His earlier record includes the presidency of his school’s English Debating Society and a district-level win in mixed martial arts.
