How to report copyright concerns about content published on this site or created with its tools, and how to submit a counter-notice.

Section 01
What is actually on this site
This site does not host user-uploaded content. Everything published here, including the writing, design, imagery and code, is owned by or licensed to Panzex Solutions.
Copyright complaints generally fall into one of three cases:
- Something we published infringes your rights. For example, text, an image or a code sample. Please let us know and we will act promptly.
- Output from one of our free tools has been used to infringe your rights. We do not host tool output, but please report it. Such use breaches our Acceptable Use Policy and it affects how we run the tools.
- Someone is passing our work off as theirs. Please let us know.
Section 02
Sending a takedown notice
Email build@panzex.com with “Copyright notice” in the subject line. To be actionable — and to satisfy the requirements of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, which we follow as a matter of practice — your notice needs to include all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorised to act for them.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several, a representative list is fine.
- The specific URL or location on this site of the material, in enough detail for us to locate it.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and — under penalty of perjury — that you are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
We aim to acknowledge notices within one working day and to act on valid notices promptly. If a notice is incomplete, we will tell you what is missing.
Section 03
Before you send one
Knowingly making a false claim of infringement carries real consequences. Under the DMCA you can be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees, if you materially misrepresent that something is infringing.
Takedown notices should not be used to remove criticism, comparison or competitive information. If your concern is about what a page says rather than a work you own, please contact us directly instead.
Section 04
If we remove something of yours in error
Where we have removed material in response to a notice and you believe that was wrong, you can send a counter-notice to build@panzex.com containing:
- Your signature.
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and to accepting service from the complainant.
We will forward it to whoever sent the original notice. Where the law requires it, we may restore the material after the statutory waiting period unless we are told court proceedings have been filed.
Section 05
Quoting our work
You may quote from our knowledge base with attribution and a link.
What needs asking first is republishing whole articles, or reproducing our brand mark outside a straightforward reference to us. Ask at build@panzex.com.
Section 06
Repeat infringers
Where we can identify someone repeatedly using our tools to infringe, we will block their access. There are no accounts to terminate, so this is enforced at the network level and by reporting where appropriate.
