How do I apply, and what does the process look like?
Apply through the form on the internships page. It asks for your contact details, education, ranked track preferences, links to your work, availability and a short written statement about your chosen track. Each application is reviewed individually and progresses through screening, an interview and a decision. Every applicant receives a response.
Your work links and written statement carry the most weight. A modest, finished project with a clear README is more valuable than an ambitious unfinished one. If your best work is not public, describe it instead.
In your statement, be specific: describe something you built, a problem you encountered and how you resolved it, and why the track interests you. A few clear, genuine sentences are more effective than lengthy text.
The interview is a conversation about your work. You may be asked why you made particular decisions and what you would change. It is perfectly acceptable to say when you do not know something.
Please rank your track preferences according to genuine interest.
